About the role

We are looking for an outstanding and passionate Android team leader to join our top-notch Mobile development group. The right candidate will have the opportunity to be a meaningful part of developing a large-scale revolutionary platform that is used by hundreds of millions of users world-wide.

Responsibilities:


  • Leading a team of developers and QA Engineers
  • Working with our Product Manager on awesome products and features
  • Designing solutions, evaluating architecture options, setting technical direction and quality standards, guiding implementation
  • Managing and keeping track of the team’s progress and improvements on Sprint-based metrics
  • Personal development and growth of your team members

Requirements:


  • At least 2 years of managing experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in native Android applications development
  • Strong understanding of MV* design patterns, multi-modular architecture and SOLID principles
  • Strong understanding of Android internals and way it works under the hood
  • Experience in Kotlin
  • Good understanding of the multi-flavor projects
  • Experience in project design, coding and release
  • Experience in Agile methodology leading a scrum team
  • Strong Git best practices knowledge
  • Hands on experience with the estimation techniques
  • Commitment on the timelines and quality over the deliverables
  • At least B2 level of English
