About the role

Responsibilities:


  • Design and architect .Net applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Contribute to both back-end (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, Entity Framework) and front-end (Angular, React, or Blazor) development.
  • Lead & Mentor team members, ensuring they follow best practices and coding standards.
  • Review code submitted by team members, ensuring it meets quality standards, performs optimally, and adheres to security guidelines.
  • Work in Agile sprints, participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure the team meets project deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Develop API and code documentation for systems under development.

Skills and Experience:


  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .Net MVC, and web APIs.
  • Expertise in the MS Entity framework.
  • SQL Server schema design, stored procedures, and table creation.
  • Familiarity with architectural patterns such as Model-View-Controller (MVC).
  • Test framework automation experience (Nunit, Xunit, Mstest).
  • .Net core command, framework, and build experience.
  • Knowledge of secure coding principles (Owasp, privilege escalation).
  • Azure know-how (App Service, Service Bus, Sql, Monitor, etc.).
  • Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).
  • Experience with alerting mechanisms for API’s in case of any failures.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Experience with concurrent development source control (Git).
  • Excellent communication skills.

Pluses:


  • Experience with leading the team or mentoring co-workers.
  • React.js experience.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or similar cloud certifications.
  • Experience designing and building microservices architecture using .Net Core
  • Experience with performance optimization tools and techniques in .Net applications, including memory management, profiling, and query optimization.
