About the role

Supersonic from Unity is looking for a talented Game Designer to join our in-house Superworks creative team.


Responsibilities:


  • Great sense of what makes a fun and snackable gameplay experience for a mass audience
  • Create reusable templates and procedural designs (build a good pipeline) to ease the workflow
  • Design games from A to Z: gameplay, FTUE, levels, environments, reward systems, difficulty, balancing, etc
  • Create gameplay prototypes and a database of gameplay concepts that could be used in the future

Requirements:


  • At least 3 years of experience as a game designer with Unity
  • Previous experience developing hyper-casual games
  • A track record working on mobile games, having released at least 2 successful games
  • Solid knowledge about Game Design, including game mechanics, level design, and UI/UX
  • Experience with creating mock-ups and wireframe designs
  • Creative problem-solving skills to address a diversity of game design issues every day, including but not limited to gameplay, level, interface, etc
  • Experience with balancing game systems (difficulty, reward, monetization, etc)
  • Enjoy playing mobile games, especially hyper-casual
  • Passionate about finding trends, gameplay, and game mechanics
  • Good level of English (both writing and speaking)
  • Great communication skills
  • Versatile, can adapt quickly, and move fast
  • Experience with hyper-casual is a big plus
