About the roleOrca consists of many functional/initiative-oriented teams managed by RnD Directors. Project Management (as discipline) as a service is provided by Project Management Office (PMO), focused on compliance management. We establish the same practices and standards across different teams, adopt management practices and teach teams how to use it. We work on escalations and escort problematic projects. PMO acts as a bridge to connect Product Management, RnD and Production Support. We develop KPIs and represent it to Senior Management. Leading Quarter Planning is also part of PMO activities. In addition to above Project Managers work closely with several teams to help, guide and protect them. Project manager in Orca works in a really dynamic environment. Orca rapidly grows on all fronts (team size, clients, codebase) and PMO helps the company to transform based on new scale.
