About the role

A new team is emerging at Unity Aura, and we are looking for a great QA Engineer to join us! Responsibilities:


  • Perform end-to-end testing for each new feature delivered by the team (from test cases creation up to feature is going live)
  • Be fully committed to the scope of work and available within working hours
  • Support test and QA procedures on a project, assuring the product quality on a daily basis
  • Build design test documentation (test check lists, test cases)
  • Product requirements analysis and processing
  • Be a part of the agile delivery team, working closely with development/design/product management to coordinate the effort
  • Take part in continuous process improvement, giving process feedbacks

Requirements:


  • At least 4 years experience in QA position
  • At least 3 year experience in testing of Android apps
  • BS/MS degree is required, preferably in computer science, engineering, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in technical knowledge, engineering mentality
  • Knowledge of general software testing theory and software development lifecycle
  • Strong understanding and experience with different testing techniques
  • Experience using Android Studio (logs, emulators, etc.), ADB commands
  • Strong understanding of Android key features and difference between OS versions
  • Experience working with Jira, Confluence, and TestRails or similar products
  • Good understanding of SDLC
  • Experience in writing QA test plans
  • At least B2 level of English
