About the role

We’re on the hunt for a talented backend engineer to join the ironSource Exchange R&D team. It’s a chance to work on our core server products, help build cutting-edge tools, and support the Exchange department in staying ahead of the competition while driving revenue growth.


What You’ll Do:


  • Develop and maintain large-scale web servers, as well as support our current backend systems.
  • Be accountable for your work: from technical design and coding to testing, deploying, maintaining, and documenting.
  • Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and DataOps teams.
  • Actively participate in planning processes and contribute to improving team performance.

What We’re Looking For:


  • 3-5 years of experience as a Golang developer.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on work designing and building large, scalable systems.
  • A self-driven, independent worker with a knack for innovation.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with tools like AI agents ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot for accelerating development, and experience working in agile environments with CI/CD practices.
  • Comfortable using Linux and the terminal.
  • A good understanding of Git workflows.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS.
  • English - B2 or higher

Bonus Points For:


  • Knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL, Aerospike, Redis, or working with large datasets.
  • Experience building and managing data pipelines.
  • Awareness of how cloud costs impact design and development.
