About the role

You will be a Python Engineer responsible for the development and improvement of software products. Tech Stack: Python 3.x, Django, Celery, Asyncio, AWS, K8S, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, Node.js, React.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop, deploy, and maintain integration processes between Orca’s applications and 3rd-party services
  • Write code that meets the production requirements and design specifications and anticipate potential errors/issue
  • Work with your Orca’s teammates to design and prototype potential integrations

Requirements:


  • At least 3+ years of experience in developing commercial applications in Python
  • Experience with Django or any other Python framework
  • Knowledge and experience in developing or interacting with REST API
  • Experience in writing unit and integration tests
  • Solid analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Team player mindset
  • English level — Intermediate (B1)

Nice to have:


  • Experience with event-driven systems
  • Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with node.js and/or frontend development (React)
