Your Role
As a Technical Graphic Designer within our creative ads team, you’ll leverage your artistic and technical expertise to deliver visually stunning, optimized, and engaging assets for our game ads. Your responsibilities will include:
- Design & Development: Creating game assets such as characters, environments, and UI elements, with a focus on 3D art. Your skills in concept art and animation will ensure visually appealing and user-friendly ad experiences.
- Art References & Mockups: Researching and analyzing visual references for videos and interactive playables. Developing mockups to communicate your vision effectively to the team.
- Animations: Enhancing ad experiences through impactful animations, using tools like Unity, After effects, Spine or Mixamo to craft fluid, dynamic character movements.
- Unity Integration: Working directly within Unity to integrate your art seamlessly into games, collaborating with developers to resolve technical challenges.
- App Icon & Screenshot Production: Designing compelling app icons and screenshots to optimize app store performance (ASO) and attract new users. Collaborating with the Growth team to ensure visuals align with best practices for increasing visibility and downloads.
- Team Collaboration: Participating actively in discussions, offering feedback, and contributing ideas to shape creative and cohesive results across disciplines.
Your Profile
We’re looking for a creative professional who thrives on collaboration and innovation. The ideal candidate has:
- Experience: 3+ years as a graphic designer or technical artist, with 1-2 years in a mobile gaming environment.
- Portfolio: A strong foundation in 3D art and proficiency in 2D art and animation.
- Tools Expertise: Proficiency in Unity, Photoshop, After Effects, and 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender). Experience with Spine is a plus.
- Versatility: A generalist skill set with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt styles to fit diverse games.
- Design Insight: A solid understanding of user-friendly interface design that enhances ad experience.
- Mindset: A proactive, problem-solving approach and a willingness to experiment and iterate for optimal solutions.
- Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication, a team-focused attitude, and openness to seeking help or clarification when needed.
