About the role

Looking for a talented Graphic UI/UX Designer to join Haptiq's team. You will be responsible for creating prototypes and interfaces, developing site architectures, conceptualizing UI brand guidelines, and many more exciting projects!


Responsibilities:


  • Do competitive market research to understand best practices in our subject domain
  • Create prototypes and interfaces with tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and Sketch
  • Develop site architectures and organization to maximize business goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to instrument designs that optimize business value based on development and budgetary constraints
  • Understand desktop and mobile screens and user behavior
  • Develop product logos and graphics that conform to brand values
  • Deliver style guides for consistent implementation of design principles
  • Understand the client's brief/vision and convert that into appealing and highly usable interfaces
  • Understanding End users of website/application through primary research and stakeholder/user interviews
  • Presents high-fidelity designs/wireframes to the customer for review/approval
  • Conceptualize visual/UI brand guidelines, and art direction, collaborate with other designers as necessary

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 3 years of formal industry/professional experience as a Web/Mobile Designer/Visual Designer/ UI Designer/UX Designer
  • Design Tools: Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma/Sketch
  • Conceptual understanding of User Interface Design and the Design Process
  • Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and communication skills. Capable of juggling multiple projects and related complexities at the same time.
  • Good sense of design aesthetics: Typography, Layout, Grid systems & Color theory
  • Strong understanding of mobile platforms, particularly iOS & Android
  • Understanding Web and Mobile's limitations, with approaches/ideas to flex those boundaries
  • Solid portfolio demonstrating design savvy
  • English at least B1+
  • Formal education in interaction design (Bachelor's/Master's/Diploma) is a definite plus
